Jesus said, "Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven." Matthew 19:14

Discipling the next generation of believers is a great privilege and we take this privilege very seriously.  So, here are some of the aspects of our Children's Ministry which you might find helpful to know:

Sunday Curriculum

We use a curriculum that teaches an overview of the entire Bible about every seven years.

You can peruse our current curriculum for 5 & Under Children and K to 6th Grade.

Wednesday Cirriculum

September to May:  We use AWANA curriculum. Signups begin in late August each year. Please visit our AWANA page for more information and forms for registration.

Summer Months:  We seek the Lord each year for that summer's curriculum.
This summer (2019) we are hosting the "Hope for Kids" program for children in 1st thru 6th grade. This program is designed to teach the children the gospel for themselves and give them tools to share with others. Parents with children 5 years of age or younger can take advantage of childcare.

Children's Worship

In addition to the curriculum, the children currently enjoy corporate worship in the adult sanctuary.

Securtiy And Safety

The security and safety of the children are always a critical concern for us. Therefore, we have taken many steps to ensure their safety. Some of the steps are as follows:

  • Every Children's Ministry servant has undergone a thorough national and local background check.

  • No person is ever alone in a room with a child, with the possible exception of the time the first child arrives or the last child leaves the classroom.

  • All classrooms have windows, and all curtains are open.

  • Children use a "children's only" restroom with adults waiting outside.

  • No men ever change diapers.

  • Our Children's Ministry Policy Manual is available to anyone upon request at any time.

Note for Parents

In order to keep distractions to a minimum, we encourage children under the age of 10 be taken to their classroom according to their age or grade level. However, if you desire to sit with your children during the adult worship service, we ask that you please sit near the back of the sanctuary to step out if needed.  Thank you.

Intretsted In Serving

If you are interested in serving in this ministry, you can apply to serve the children in one of two ways.

  • You can complete our online Servant Ministry Questionnaire.
  • Or, you can print a copy of the Questionnaire, complete it and drop it in any offering box or hand it to a leader and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Thanks you.
